This comparison compiles hosting prices in the market. At Onur Freelance, hosting opened in the business’s name is 2,000 TL per year, and a domain is 1,000 TL per year; details are on the hosting prices page.

When comparing hosting prices, the most reliable data are the figures on companies’ own package pages. On October 11, 2026, we individually opened the Linux and cPanel shared hosting pages of 18 hosting companies serving Türkiye. Across the 10 companies publishing prices in Turkish lira, the first-year amount for an entry package ranged from 205.56 TL to 1,331.88 TL, with a median of 726.89 TL. Another 8 companies publish prices in dollars; these are shown in a separate table and were not converted to TL.

The article includes a table of companies with TL prices, a step-by-step median calculation, the difference between first-year and renewal prices, dollar-based companies, disk, email, and backup scope, differences between shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress, and a selection checklist. Onur Freelance is also a studio providing hosting; our own price appears in a separate table row and is excluded from the calculation. Companies may change their prices at any time; the relevant company’s page should be the reference for the current amount.

If you have a hosting proposal, it can be placed alongside this table

A renewal invoice or new hosting proposal can be read on the same basis as the tables below. The first-year amount, second-year amount, currency, and technical package scope are reviewed line by line in a free preliminary assessment.

Hosting price comparison 2026: Brief answer

Across 10 companies publishing prices in TL, the first-year entry package amount ranges from a low of 205.56 TL to a high of 1,331.88 TL; the median is 726.89 TL, and the mean is approximately 782 TL. This band is a rough answer to annual web hosting prices in 2026, but it shows only the first year. Among 4 companies separately stating second-year amounts, renewal is between 5 and 110 percent more expensive than the first year.

  • Companies examined: 18 (10 priced in TL, 8 in dollars)
  • TL entry package, first-year range: 205.56 – 1,331.88 TL
  • TL entry package, first-year median: 726.89 TL
  • TL companies stating renewal prices separately from the first year: 4; their first-year median is 664.01 TL, and renewal median 1,155.35 TL (approximately 74 percent difference)
  • TL companies not stating renewal prices: 4; another 2 give the same amount under “Renewal prices”
  • VAT statement: 8 of the 10 TL-priced companies state VAT is excluded; 2 make no mention of VAT

The figures are not a market average, only the list prices of companies stating prices openly. Behind the same figure, disk space varies from 512 MB to 15 GB, and email allowances from 5 accounts to unlimited; the price should therefore be read alongside the scope table.

Entry package table for 10 TL-priced companies

Prices are reproduced as written on the pages; all pages were accessed on October 11, 2026. The entry package is the lowest package on the company’s Linux or cPanel shared hosting page. Where a page gives only a monthly unit price, the annual amount is separately marked as a “calculation”. The order is alphabetical, not a ranking of quality or recommendations.

How was the median calculated? Lowest, middle, and highest first-year prices

For each company, the entry package amount for a 12-month purchase was used. If the page stated the annual total directly, that figure was used; if it gave only a monthly unit price, 12 times the unit price was used. Low monthly figures shown for long-term upfront purchases (2, 3, or 4 years) were excluded; all were compared on a single-year purchase basis. The ten first-year amounts in ascending order are: 205.56; 533.90; 593.99; 614.13; 713.88; 739.90; 990.00; 1,026.80; 1,070.04; and 1,331.88 TL.

  • Lowest: 205.56 TL (Hostixo, S-Başlangıç; 17.13 TL × 12)
  • Highest: 1,331.88 TL (Hostinger, Single, 12-month plan)
  • Median: because the number of values is even, the average of the middle two: (713.88 + 739.90) / 2 = 726.89 TL
  • Mean: total 7,820.08 TL / 10 = approximately 782.01 TL

The median was also tested against assumptions. Using Güzel Hosting’s 323.90 TL DirectAdmin option instead of cPanel changes the ranking but leaves the middle two values unchanged, so the median remains 726.89 TL. Hostinger’s default 48-month plan (55.99 TL monthly) and ixirhost’s 3-year unit price (70.47 TL monthly) were excluded; these figures apply only to multi-year upfront payments. One-time discount codes applied in the cart were also not reflected.

First-year price and renewal price: The most common comparison trap

On shared hosting pages, the largest amount is often written in the smallest type: renewal. The large figure on a pricing card is usually the first-term promotional price, while the second-year amount appears in a popup or below the table. Among 4 TL-priced companies stating renewal amounts separately, the differences are:

Company (entry package)First yearRenewal (annual)Difference (calculation)
Hostixo (S-Başlangıç)205.56 TL216.34 TL216.34 / 205.56 → approximately 5.2% increase
Alastyr (Piko Hosting)614.13 TL810.81 TL810.81 / 614.13 → approximately 32.0% increase
TürkTicaret.Net (Web Mini)713.88 TL1,499.88 TL1,499.88 / 713.88 → approximately 110.1% increase
Hostinger (Single)1,331.88 TL2,651.88 TL2,651.88 / 1,331.88 → approximately 99.1% increase

For these four companies, the first-year median is (614.13 + 713.88) / 2 = 664.01 TL, and the renewal median is (810.81 + 1,499.88) / 2 = 1,155.35 TL; the second year is approximately 74 percent more expensive than the first. Pages also state this rule explicitly: Hostixo notes “The promotion applies only to the initial purchase and cannot be used for renewals”, while DorukNet states that renewal uses the current price schedule.

Three forms of the trap were observed. First, the prominently displayed monthly figure applies only to a 3- or 4-year upfront purchase; Hostinger defaults to a 48-month plan, while Veridyen and ixirhost highlight a 3-year unit price. Second, no renewal price is stated at all; pages of 4 TL-priced companies do not include the second-year amount. Third, the list price is mistaken for the renewal price; the crossed-out amount is not always the renewal price. Veridyen and Hosting Dünyam give term prices under “Renewal prices” without separating the first year and renewal. In every case, the second-year amount should be requested in writing in the proposal.

8 companies publishing prices in dollars

Some well-known companies such as Natro, Turhost, and İsimtescil publish shared hosting prices in dollars. These were not converted to TL or included in the median; conversion requires an assumption such as which day’s exchange rate to use. Even the rates displayed by the pages differ: Natro states $1 = 49.22 TL, İHS Telekom 49.29 TL, and Netinternet 50.19 TL.

NetinternetStarter (cPanel Hosting)$2.59 monthlyRenewal price not specifiedPricing page
TurhostEntry1 year $9.48 ($0.79/month)1 year $26.28Pricing page

For dollar-priced companies, the gap between first year and renewal is wider than for TL-priced ones: at Turhost, the first year is $9.48 and renewal $26.28 (approximately 177 percent increase); at DorukNet, the $0.81 monthly figure shown for a 1-year cycle produces a first-year payment of 0.81 × 12 = $9.72 (calculation), while renewal is $48.30 (approximately 5 times). Dollar-based pricing has a second variable: the exchange rate on renewal day. The TL equivalent can change with the exchange rate even if the dollar price stays the same.

Let us review the renewal invoice items together

When a renewal email from the hosting company or a pending proposal is sent through WhatsApp, the second-year amount, currency, VAT statement, and package scope are reviewed free of charge. Onur Freelance’s hosting terms are on the hosting prices page.

What is in the packages? Disk, email, SSL, and backup comparison

The table below shows the items written on the pages for entry packages of TL-priced companies. “Not stated” does not mean the item is absent; it only means it is not specified on the page and should be asked about separately in the proposal.

Three conclusions emerge from the table. All 6 companies stating entry package backup frequency numerically list weekly backups; daily backups are absent from entry packages, while DorukNet offers daily backups as a separate optional service. Second, the lowest first-year price (205.56 TL) also corresponds to the smallest disk space (512 MB) and 50 MB email mailboxes; the price ranking and scope ranking are not the same. Third, email allowances vary from 5 accounts to unlimited, and per-mailbox quotas are not stated on most pages; for a business with heavy corporate email use, this row should be read before the price.

Corporate hosting and WordPress hosting prices: What does the package name tell you?

Many companies publish separate pages called “web hosting”, “WordPress hosting”, and “corporate hosting”. To maintain a consistent comparison basis, this research includes only entry packages from Linux and cPanel shared hosting pages. As an example of differences within one company, 12-month prices on Veridyen’s three pages are as follows (all exclude VAT; annual amounts are calculations):

  • Linux 5GB: 89.17 TL monthly → 1,070.04 TL annually
  • WordPress 5GB: 93.42 TL monthly → 1,121.04 TL annually
  • Şirket 10GB (corporate hosting page): 192.15 TL monthly → 2,305.80 TL annually

In this example, the WordPress hosting entry price is close to the Linux package with the same disk space; the corporate hosting entry package is approximately twice the price, with twice the disk space and twice the email quota (5 × 2 GB). The package name alone says nothing; when comparing WordPress hosting or corporate hosting prices, disk, email quota, backups, and website count should also be read line by line. The effect of server type on page speed is discussed in the web hosting selection and website speed article.

Differences between shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress

All prices in this article are for shared hosting. No price comparison was made for the other two models; the differences are explained only in terms of how they operate.

  • Shared hosting: One server’s resources are divided among many accounts; each package is assigned a particular share of disk, processor, and memory. The company maintains the server, while the user manages only their own account through a panel such as cPanel, DirectAdmin, or Plesk. Promotional websites and small corporate websites are usually hosted on this model.
  • VPS (virtual server): The physical server is divided into virtual machines, and the allocated resources remain specific to that virtual server. It provides more control and isolation; in return, operating system updates, security settings, and backup arrangements often fall to the user or a separately contracted technical specialist.
  • Managed WordPress: The server is configured for WordPress, and the provider takes on certain WordPress-specific tasks (such as caching, updates, and backups). Included work varies by provider; what the word “managed” covers should be asked about in writing in the proposal.

The model is determined by the website’s load and who will manage it rather than by price. WordPress.org’s server requirements page recommends PHP 8.3 or later, MariaDB 10.11 or MySQL 8.0 or later, and HTTPS support; whichever model is chosen, check that the package offers these versions. Onur Freelance is not an official WordPress.org support channel; this information comes directly from the linked document.

Hosting selection checklist

When choosing between proposals, check whether the following items are stated in writing in every proposal before considering the price. The list was compiled from differences seen on the pricing pages above and from official documents.

  1. What will be paid in the second year? Are first-year and renewal prices stated separately?
  2. For which period? Does the monthly figure on the card apply to a 12-month purchase or a 3–4-year upfront payment?
  3. Currency: Is the price in TL or dollars? If dollars, which day’s exchange rate is used at renewal?
  4. VAT: Does the amount include or exclude VAT?
  5. Whose name is the account opened under? Are the hosting account, invoice, and dashboard access held using the business’s own details?
  6. Backup: How often, how many days is it retained, and how is restoration requested? The WordPress backup documentation recommends weekly backups for websites with little content, daily backups for busy websites, and keeping at least three copies in different locations.
  7. Email: How many mailboxes can be opened, and how many GB is the quota per mailbox?
  8. SSL: Is the certificate free, and does it renew automatically?
  9. Support: Through which channel and at what hours are responses provided; who intervenes in a server-related failure?
  10. Server location: Is the server in Türkiye or abroad? For a website collecting personal data, according to the KVKK (Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law) data security page , the data controller is jointly responsible with the other person for necessary measures when data are processed by that person on the controller’s behalf.
  11. Migration: If an existing website will be migrated, who does it, and is there a fee?
  12. Domain: Is the complimentary domain free only for the first year? ixirhost states that the free domain applies only to new orders and for 1 year; Hostixo states that this promotion applies to 1-year purchases of particular packages.

Domain fees and extension selection are discussed separately on the domain prices page.

Where does Onur Freelance’s hosting price sit in this table?

At Onur Freelance, hosting is 2,000 TL per year; together with a .com or .com.tr domain, it is 3,000 TL per year. This amount is approximately 3.3 times the 726.89 TL first-year entry package median for 10 TL-priced companies and exceeds all ten first-year prices examined. Compared with the 4 companies stating renewal separately, it is below Hostinger Single’s annual renewal (2,651.88 TL, calculation) and above the other three companies’ renewals. Our price is above market entry packages; we state this openly.

What the difference pays for can be explained only by what is written on our hosting prices page. According to the page, the domain and hosting account are opened in the business’s name, and panel access and registration information are shared with the business. The package’s disk, email, backup, and SSL scope and renewal terms are specified in the written proposal in the same document as the annual fee, and the proposal is sent the same day. In a server-related failure, the contact is the person providing the service; if migration is required, its scope is stated in the proposal, with the fee and timeframe clarified after reviewing the website. WhatsApp messages are answered daily between 09:00 and 21:00.

The annual hosting fee does not include maintenance or website management: as stated on our page, design, setup, and maintenance are separate services; optional WordPress maintenance is 500–2,000 TL per month. For a technically knowledgeable business wanting to manage its own account, purchasing directly from a company in the table means a lower annual amount; for a business wanting a single contact and written ownership clauses, selection should be based on scope. Total expenses including hosting, domains, maintenance, and licenses are discussed in the annual website cost article, setup prices in the website prices 2026 market research, and maintenance fees in the WordPress maintenance fees 2026 market research . As a studio based in Maltepe, we have worked since 2019.

Methodology and limitations

The research was conducted by individually downloading Linux and cPanel shared hosting pages of companies serving Türkiye on October 11, 2026. Prices were read from raw page text; pages loading prices through JavaScript in the browser (Güzel Hosting, Hostixo, İsimtescil, ixirhost, and Hostinger’s 12-month selection) were opened in a browser and read from visible text. Search engine short answers and third-party price lists were not used as sources.

  • Inclusion criterion: The company must state a numerical price for its shared hosting entry package on its own website.
  • Currency: TL-priced companies were included in the median; dollar-priced companies were shown in a separate table and were not converted to TL because no exchange-rate assumption was made.
  • Excluded: Radore’s Linux hosting page returned 404, and shared hosting was not found in its menu; no hosting page was found on Metunic’s website; pages without prices in raw text that also could not be opened in a browser, and third-party listing websites, were excluded.
  • Inconsistencies: An invisible “Renewal prices” element in ixirhost’s raw page code was not used because it conflicted with the visible price; only figures written on the visible page were included in the renewal column.
  • Sample: The 18 companies are those openly stating prices; results do not represent the entire market and do not measure service quality, speed, or support response times.

This research uses October 2026 data and is refreshed once a year using the same 26 keywords and the same settings; the next update will take place in October 2027. The raw weekly series can be reproduced through Trends using the same parameters. If a website is to be structured around the industry’s own keyword list, the

This research uses October 2026 data and is refreshed every 3 months; the next check will take place in January 2027. Companies changing prices, starting to publish renewal prices, or changing currency will be reflected in the table during that round.

To see hosting and domain in a single written proposal

For those gathering information, the checklist is a sufficient starting point. For those with multiple proposals, the proposals are organized into the same rows; for those wanting to begin immediately, the website address or intended domain is reviewed, and the annual fee, technical scope, and renewal terms are provided in writing. You can get in touch through WhatsApp or by phone.

Frequently asked questions

On October 11, 2026, across 10 hosting companies publishing prices in TL, the first-year shared hosting entry package amount ranges from 205.56 TL to 1,331.88 TL; the median is 726.89 TL. These figures are for the first year; renewal is higher at most companies.

The large figure displayed on pages is usually a first-term promotional price; renewal uses the current list price. Among 4 TL-priced companies stating renewal separately, the difference ranges from 5 to 110 percent, and is approximately 74 percent between medians.

Packages called corporate generally include more disk space and email quota. In the Veridyen example, Şirket 10GB is 2,305.80 TL annually on a 12-month plan, compared with 1,070.04 TL for Linux 5GB (excluding VAT, calculation); scope should be compared instead of package names.

There is no large difference in the examined example: at Veridyen, WordPress 5GB is 1,121.04 TL annually on a 12-month plan, compared with 1,070.04 TL for Linux 5GB with the same disk space (excluding VAT, calculation). The difference should be sought in which WordPress tasks the provider takes on.

8 companies publish prices in dollars. Converting to TL requires an assumption about which day’s exchange rate to use; even rates displayed on the pages range from 49.22 to 50.19 TL. These companies were therefore excluded from the median.

The WordPress backup documentation recommends weekly backups for websites with little content, daily backups for busy websites, and keeping at least three copies in different locations. All 6 examined entry package providers stating backup frequency list weekly backups.

Companies’ shared hosting pages were individually downloaded on October 11, 2026; prices were taken from the pages’ own text, or visible browser text for JavaScript-loaded pages. Each company’s entry package for a 12-month purchase was compared, and renewal prices were used only if stated on the page.

At Onur Freelance, hosting is 2,000 TL per year, or 3,000 TL per year together with a .com or .com.tr domain, and the account is opened in the business’s name. This exceeds the median of TL entry packages; scope and renewal terms are specified in the written proposal, and our own price was excluded from the calculation.
